Terms of use

The advisors are software. They are not doctors, counsellors or crisis workers, they hold no qualification, and nothing they say is medical advice. cozyroom is for reflection and practice.

If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now. This app cannot help with that, and nobody here is watching for it.

Replies are generated by a language model. They can be wrong, confidently wrong, or simply unhelpful, and they do not represent our views. Decisions you take about your own life, your relationships or anyone else's remain yours. The characters are invented; any resemblance to a real person is a coincidence of the words that came out.

You need to be 18 or over. Keep your password to yourself — anything done with your sign-in is treated as done by you. One person, one account.

Coins pay for the things that cost money to run: messages, unlocking a topic, and hearing a reply out loud. They are credit inside this app, not money and not a currency. They do not expire, they cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and purchases are not refundable except where the law where you live says otherwise. Prices can change; coins you already hold keep working. What coins cost.

• Use it to harass, threaten, deceive or stalk a real person.
• Try to make the app produce sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes self-harm or violence towards anyone. These end the account immediately.
• Upload pictures of other people who have not agreed to it, or anything you do not have the right to share.
• Script, scrape or resell the service, or pick at it for ways to make it do things it was not built to do.

What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to pass it to the model that answers it, and nothing more — see Privacy.

You can stop whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted. We can suspend or close an account that breaks the rules above, and we will say why when we can.

cozyroom is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, correct or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the last twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

These terms can change. When they do, the date at the top moves. Carrying on using the app after a change means accepting it.
