Privacy

An account is an email address, a password and a nickname. Alongside it:

• Your conversations with advisors, and with the characters you practise on.
• The short profiles you write about yourself and the people in your life, and the notes an advisor keeps so you do not have to explain your life twice.
• Your mood check-ins, test results and reports.
• Feature usage: which tools or lessons you open or finish, when you view reports or mood trends, and when an AI tool successfully responds. These records contain your account ID, the feature ID and a timestamp, without conversation text, mood details, screenshots or answers. We use aggregate counts to understand which features people use and how often they return.
• Your coin balance and what it was spent on. We do not take payments yet, so there are no card details anywhere in this app.

We do not ask for your real name, your phone number, your contacts or your location, and there is nowhere to put them.

We do not sell anything to anyone, we run no advertising, and we do not use your conversations to train models of our own. Running the app means passing what a feature needs to the companies that host it and generate its replies, and no more than that.

• Pictures. A screenshot you send is shrunk in your browser, kept in your browser, and passed to the model to be read. It is never written to our database. Open the same conversation on another device and the picture is not there — that is the trade for not storing it.
• Audio. A line read aloud is generated for that request and streamed straight to you, marked so that nothing in between writes it to disk.
• Anything a character is told about you. The people you practise on never receive your moods, your profiles, your reports, or anything another character knows. They get your first name and what anyone could tell by looking.

There is no analytics or advertising cookie in this app. The ones we set keep you signed in, remember which filter you chose on the Skills shelf, and remember where you were in the deck of people to meet.

You can delete a conversation, a person or a contact from inside the app at any time, and it goes from the database rather than being hidden. To delete the account and everything attached to it, write to hello@cozyroom.ai from the address you signed up with.

cozyroom is for adults. It is not designed or intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly keep data from anyone who is.

If what we do with your data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
